Occupied Territories Ministry Limits Goods Carried By Citizens Across Contact Line In Donbas By 75 Kilograms And UAH 10,000

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine has limited the amount of goods (other than personal belongings and excisable goods) carried by citizens across the contact line in Donbas by the total cost of UAH 10,000 and total weight of 75 kilograms per person.

This is said on order No.39 of March 24, 2017, of the Ministry, which took effect from April 1, 2017 (the date of publication), Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The Ministry has endorsed a list of goods allowed for crossing the contact line in Donbas.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, by its resolution No.99 of March 1, 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers laid down the procedure for movement of commodities across the boundary line in Donbas.

The procedure defines the legal treatment of movement of commodities including those validly declared humanitarian aid to and from the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) across the boundary line and/or within it.
