Russia-Annexed Sevastopol "Authorities" Ready To Compensate Cost Of Nationalized Assets To Ukrainian Owners

"Authorities" of Russia-annexed Sevastopol are ready to compensate cost of assets nationalized after Crimea's annexation by Russia in 2014 to Ukrainian owners.

The Sevastopol city authorities have said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

A meeting of the city government approved the bill on peculiarities of regulation of property and land relations in the territory of Sevastopol that envisions compensation of cost of nationalized property.

According to the report, the bill has been agreed with the Economy Development Ministry of the Russian Federation and the Main Legal Department.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, after Crimea's annexation, Russia managed to organize and implement a well-coordinated scheme of deprival Ukrainian companies of their property without compensation.
