Petrenko: Mejlis Appeals In ECHR Against Its Ban In Russia, Crimea

Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko states that the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people has appealed in the European Court of Human Rights against the ban on its activity in the Russian Federation and the Russia-annexed Crimea.

He has told this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He did not provide any other details.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Canada calls on Russia to abolish the ban on Mejlis in Crimea.
