The International Monetary Fund has officially included the third review of its loan program for Ukraine in its calendar for April 3.

This is evidenced by the data from the fund, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The IMF will consider two issues on April 3: financing Ukraine and San Marino.

The third review of the IMF's loan program for Ukraine is expected to result in disbursement of a loan tranche of USD 1 billion to Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the IMF approved an Extended Fund Facility (EFF) loan program worth a total of USD 17.5 billion over a period of four years for Ukraine on March 11, 2015.

Ukraine received the first tranche of USD 5 billion on March 13, 2015, and the second tranche of USD 1.7 billion on August 4, 2015.

The IMF approved disbursement of the third tranche of USD 1 billion to Ukraine in September 2016.

The loan program for Ukraine was expected to be considered at a meeting of the IMF's executive board on March 20, but the fund later postponed the meeting pending macroeconomic assessment of the blockade of the Donbas.
