Activists Smash Ex-Presidential Administration Head Medvedchuk's Kyiv Office

Activists have smashed former Presidential Administration head Viktor Medvedchuk's office in Kyiv.

Ukrainian News Agency correspondent is reporting from the scene.

About 1,000 activists marched from the Independence Square to Medvedchuk's office at 23B, Velyka Vasylkivska Street, at around 19:00.

At about 19:15, the activists began smashing the entrance to the office building, tore down surveillance cameras, broke the windows on the first floor, and threw several smoke bombs inside.

After that, the activists marched back to the Independence Square in a single column.

Nobody was hurt during the event.

There was no conflict with law enforcement officials.

A fire has started in the building.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, activists have burned tires on the Independence Square in Kyiv.
