Lawyers for Haiser Jemilev, the son of Parliamentary Deputy Mustafa Jemilev of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, who is the Ukrainian presidential envoy on Crimean Tatar affairs, expect him to be released from a prison in Russia on November 25.
Haiser Jemilev's lawyer Mykola Polozov announced this on Facebook.
"Haiser Jemilev, the fourth hostage out of the dozens of Ukrainian citizens that are illegally detained in the Russian Federation, is expected to be freed on Friday," he wrote.
He did not provide further details.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a Russian court refused to release Haiser Jemilev on parole on September 30.
