Rada Committee Sends Lutsenko List Of Additional Materials Needed To Back Request To Lift MP Novinsky's Immunity

The parliamentary committee on regulations and organization of parliamentary work has sent Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko a list of the additional materials that need to be submitted in support of the request to lift the parliamentary immunity of Parliamentary Deputy Vadim Novinsky of the Opposition Bloc faction and authorize his criminal prosecution.

The committee's secretariat announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.

"The regulations committee sent a letter providing a list of the required documents to the prosecutor general yesterday," an employee of the secretariat said.

According to him, the list consists of 60 documents.

The committee intends to hold a fresh meeting on the Novinsky issue immediately after the prosecutor general sends his reply.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the parliamentary committee on regulations and organization of parliamentary work has postponed consideration of the request from the Prosecutor-General's Office to lift Novinsky's parliamentary immunity and allow his criminal prosecution.
