SBU Confirms Existence Of Russian Plan Aimed At Destabilizing Situation In Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has confirmed the existence of a Russian plan codenamed "Shatun" aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.

The SBU's head Vasyl Hrytsak announced this at a news briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to Hrytsak, attempts to implement this plan are currently being made in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SBU has said that Russia plans to destabilize the situation in 10-15 regions of Ukraine in November.

Hackers recently published Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov's correspondence, which contained information on development of a plan codenamed "Shatun" aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.
