Two thousand people are protesting in central Kyiv, a Ukrainian News Agency correspondent reports from the scene. As of 09:40, the protesters have united into two columns of 500 people and are at the exit from the Khreschatyk underground station and the same number is at the Maidan Nezalezhnosti station. The activists are about to start to the National Bank house. Law enforcement officers have already installed portal body scanners and closed Instytutska Street to traffic. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yurii Tandit, an advisor to the Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, believes that Russia is cashing in on depositors of Mykhailivskyi Bank to destabilise the situation in Ukraine.
