The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has ordered seizure of the Gulliver shopping mall in Kyiv.
Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"During the investigation of the theft of the Mykhailivskyi bank, it was established that the owner of the bank is LLC Ekosipan, 92.5% of which is owned by Polischuk V. S. The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv decided today to order seizure of Polischuk's asset - the Gulliver shopping mall complex - at the request of the Kyiv prosecutor's office," he said
He did not provide further details.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv Appeal Court recently upheld the extension of the arrest of the Mykhailivskyi bank's former board chairman Ihor Doroshenko on a bail of UAH 137.8 million until December 7. Doroshenko is suspected of embezzling UAH 870 million.
