The 112 Ukraine television channel has appointed Yehor Benkendorf, former board chairperson of the Inter television channel, director general of the channel.
The 112 Ukraine television channel announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Yehor Benkendorf took his duties of director general of the 112 Ukraine television channel on November 10, 2016.
In 2013-2016, Yehor Benkendorf was the board chairperson of the Inter television channel.
He also managed Inter Media Production, 07 Production, and Melodrama Production.
In 2010-2013, Yehor Benkendorf headed the National Television Company of Ukraine.
He has been producer of over 90 television projects and several movies.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, The Inter Media Group has dismissed Yehor Benkendorf as the board chairperson and appointed Kateryna Shkuratova instead from September 15, 2016.
The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has denied these companies re-registration of licenses several times.
In 2015, five companies broadcasting in the MX-5 multi-channel television network under the 112 Ukraine logo (Novyi Format, Ariadna TV, Partner TV, Lider TV, and Vybor TV) were cautioned for violating the terms of their licenses (change of logo and programming concept).
