Draft 2017 State Budget For Second Reading Provides For UAH 721.4 Billion Revenue, UAH 790.4 Billion Expenditure

The draft national budget for 2017, submitted for second reading, provides for UAH 721,398.426 million revenue and UAH 790,393.530 million expenditure.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from draft law No.5000, submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on November 3.

Revenue of the general fund of the state budget is planned to be set at UAH 669,409.050 million and the special fund at UAH 51,989.376 million.

Expenditure of the general fund of the state budget is planned to be set at UAH 735,378.499 million and the special fund at UAH 55,015.030 million.

The ceiling budget deficit for the next year is proposed to be set at UAH 77,547 million.

As of December 31, 2017, the ceiling public-sector debt is planned to be set at UAH 1,716.630,217 billion.

The document also proposes to allow provision of UAH 31,678.620 million sovereign guarantees in 2017.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers on September 15 submitted the 2017 state budget and proposed that Parliament pass it with UAH 706,269.842 million revenue and UAH 775,264.946 million expenditure.

The ceiling budget deficit for 2017 then was suggested at UAH 77,547 million.
