Parliamentary Deputy Vadim Novinsky of the Opposition Bloc faction has returned to Ukraine. The press service of Novinsky announced this to Ukrainian News Agency. "Novinsky returned to Ukraine today," the press service said, adding that an airplane with Novinsky on board landed at the Boryspil international airport (Kyiv region) at 15:40. Vadim Novinsky told the press at the airport that he was not planning to leave Ukraine the next week which will be a plenary session week of the Verkhovna Rada. "On the day of consideration of my issue at the Verkhovna Rada I will be in the session hall, you may be sure of that. On that day I will be in the session hall and I will vote for that resolution… I will apply to my faction with a call to vote for the resolution," he said. He said he had not read the motion of the Prosecutor General's Office. He said the parliamentary committee had not informed him about the motion. Vadim Novinsky intends to defend his innocence. He said the case against him was fabricated. Security Service of Ukraine's Chairman Vasyl Hrytsak announced on November 4 that Novinsky had flown to Thessaloniki (Greece) from the Kyiv international airport on his own airplane. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko has asked the Verkhovna Rada to authorize criminal prosecution of Novinsky. Verkhovna Rada Chairperson Andriy Parubiy has instructed the parliamentary committee on rules and organization of parliamentary work to consider the request from the Prosecutor-General's Office for permission for criminal prosecution of Novinsky.
