President Petro Poroshenko expects the European Union to consider the mechanism of suspension of visa free travels before the Ukraine – EU summit. The President’s press secretary Sviatoslav Tseholko announced this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports. The summit is taking place in Brussels, Belgium on November 24. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the issue of providing visa-free travels to the European Union for Ukrainians is not on the European Parliament session agenda for November 21-24. Deputy Chief of the President’s Staff Kostiantyn Yeliseyev believes that absence of the visa-free item on the EP agenda does not mean that it will not be considered before November 24. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olena Zerkal thinks that the issue of visa abolition for Ukrainians can be included in the European Parliament agenda for the November 21-24 session.
