Member of Parliament Serhii Leschenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction) has asked that National Corruption Prevention Agency (NCPA) to check whether President Petro Poroshenko has avoided declaring valuable assets.
First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Heraschenko has voiced a corresponding deputy's request, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Serhii Leschenko to Chairman of the National Corruption Prevention Agency about alleged evasion by President Petro Poroshenko of declaring valuable objects of art and real property in Spain," Heraschenko said.
She also voiced five requests from various MPs about an inquiry into allegedly false data on MPs' declarations.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the NCPA will check in the first instance the declarations of MPs, judges and prosecutors.
