The mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has arrived in Ukraine and proceeded to work.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a spokesperson for the IMF's Kyiv office.
The mission has started its work on November 3.
October 10, the Ministry of Finance said it expected the IMF mission to arrive on October 26.
But on October 26 the IMF mission did not start its work in Ukraine.
October 27, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeriya Hontareva said that the mission would arrive in early November and Director of IMF Communications Department Gerry Rice confirmed this later.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) predicts that will arrive in early November.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last time an IMF mission visited Ukraine May 10-18, 2016.
The IMF scheduled the next (third) review of its programme of cooperation with Ukraine for 15 November 2016.
The fourth review of the programme is scheduled for February 15, 2017 (the amount of the tranche is USD 1.986 billion), the fifth review for May 15, 2017 (USD 1.33 billion), the sixth for August 15, 2017 (USD 1.33 billion) and the seventh for November 15, 2017 (USD 735.8 million).
