Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Olena Zerkal says there is possibility that the issue of visa-free regime for Ukrainians will be included in the agenda of the session of the European Parliament of November 21-24.

She announced this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to Zerkal, there is no final agreement among the European Council, the European Parliament, and the European Commission on the issue of endorsement of a mechanism for suspension of visa-free regime with countries and the issue cannot be included in the agenda of the next session now.

"There is a preliminary agreement that they will include the issue in the agenda of the November session if they arrive at agreement and make a final decision next week (November 7-11)," she said.

Zerkal say the situation is an extraordinary one, but adding an issue to the agenda is possible regarding the procedures.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the issue of providing visa-free travels to the European Union for Ukrainians is not on the European Parliament session agenda for November 21-24.

Kostiantyn Yeliseyev, deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, says the absence of the issue in the agenda of the European Parliament at present does not mean that the issue won't be considered before November 24.

In his opinion, the European Parliament can add some issues to the agenda.
