The Prosecutor-General’s Office (PGO) will analyse President Petro Poroshenko’s e-declaration.
Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko announced this at a press briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
“It [the declaration] will be checked, like all the rest,” he said.
According to Lutsenko, Poroshenko declared considerable incomes; though these were declared before, what means that they did not emerge from nowhere.
Poroshenko’s incomes are subject to checks by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NACB), the National Corruption Prevention Agency (NCPA) and the PGO.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the PGO is about to ask the State Fiscal Service to investigate the e-declarations of those officials whose income exceeds USD 100,000.
