Anders Fogh Rasmussen, an advisor to the President and a former NATO Secretary General, says the introduction of the electronic declarations of officials is an important move in the fighting corruption in Ukraine.
The press service of Anders Fogh Rasmussen announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement reads that the next stage of the process of electronic declaration will start on 1 January 2017. It will address all civil servants at the level of local self-government.
During the next stage of the process declarations of 400,000 civil servants will be published.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz welcome the completion of the first stage of e-declaring.
