Poroshenko Declares Control Over 104 Companies

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has declared being the beneficiary of 104 companies, including the Roshen corporation and the Roshen confectionery in Russia, the Leninska Kuznya shipyard, the International Investment Bank, the Kraina insurance company, the Sevastopol Naval Plant, and a number of agribusinesses.

This is indicated by information in the Unified State Register of Declarations of Persons Authorized to Perform Functions of the State or Local Self-Government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

President Petro Poroshenko declares control over companies operating under the brand The Fifth Channel and a number of companies incorporated in the Roshen Corporation, including three companies in Russia, and companies in Hungary, Lithuania, and China.

A big number of companies are also affiliated with the Leninska Kuznya shipyard.

In fact, President Poroshenko does not control the Sevastopol Naval Plant, as the company has been "nationalized" by the Russian occupational authorities.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Petro Poroshenko has declared USD 26.3 million, EUR 14,400 and UAH 540,500 on accounts with the International Investment Bank.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko declared a collection of 84 paintings.

Poroshenko's wife Maryna has accounts with the International Investment Bank too: UAH 71,000 and UAH 8,900.

In 2015, Poroshenko borrowed USD 3.85 million and UAH 1 million to third persons.

The President also declared USD 60,000 and UAH 900,000 in cash.

In 2015, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko earned UAH 48.68 million of investment profit on difference in rates of exchange during redemption of domestic government loan bonds.

President Petro Poroshenko has declared that he used UAH 160 million to purchase securities in 2015.
