The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NACB) is checking information that family members of Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko own elite real estate on Esplanadna Street in the center of Kyiv and that they use the real estate. The press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports. "The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine in response to numerous inquiries from the side of mass media and non-government organizations has commence analytical check of information regarding observation of requirements of the anti-corruption legislation during purchase and use of the real estate on Esplanadna Street in Kyiv. There are presumptions that the end beneficiary of the revenues from the use of the commercial real estate at the said address may be the son of Prosecutor General Lutsenko - Oleksandr," reads the statement. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau says it will inform about the results of the check. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko refutes reports alleging that he or his family members own elite real estate in the center of Kyiv.
