Ukraine's representatives in the Trilateral Contact Group on resolution of the conflict in Donbas (which is made up of Ukraine, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and Russia) is insisting that the process of separation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and armed groups along the line of contact in some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions should be constantly monitored by the OSCE's Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.
Daria Olifer, the spokeswoman for former (1994-2005) president Leonid Kuchma, who represents Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group, announced this on Facebook.
Olifer added that representatives of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" and "Luhansk People's Republic" are not fully implementing the trilateral contact group's framework decision on separation of forces and hardware while Ukraine is consistently fulfilling its obligations and is hoping that Russia, the DPR and the LPR will fulfill their obligations.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine has expressed concern that the OSCE special monitoring mission is not monitoring and verifying the process of separation of forces and hardware along the line of separation in agreed areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions around the clock.
