Ukraine has imposed additional sanctions on 167 Russian legal entities.
This is stated in a decision of the NSDC, that was published on the website of the president of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The additional sanctions were imposed on the Russian state corporation Rostekh, the Rosoboronexport joint-stock company, the Progress plant, the Izhmash concern, the KamAZ public joint-stock company, the Tulpar airline, the Uktus airline, the Ikar airline, the Alrosa airline, the Sokol airline, the Gazprom Flot company, the Rosmorport federal unitary enterprise, the UTair airline, the Izhavia company, the Rusvneshtorg company, the Bashneft company, the Chermetresurs company, the Zheldorsnab company, the Rostov Port company, the Vagondormash company, the Sochiteploenergo company, the Rusneftedobycha company, the Ilyushin Aviation Complex, the RusAL united company, the Donsk tobacco company, the Transmashholding company, and other companies.
The following measures will be taken against these legal entities: their assets in Ukraine will be frozen, fulfillment of economic and financial obligations will be suspended, their trading operations will be restricted, the relevant trade agreements will be canceled, and transit flights and transportation on the territory of Ukraine will be partially or completely stopped.
The sanctions were imposed for a period of one year.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Security and Defense Council approved sanctions against 1,124 Russian individuals and 156 legal entities and stated the period of the sanctions on 2 September.
The sanctioned individuals include Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the Chechen Republic’s head Ramzan Kadyrov, the Russian State Duma’s head Sergei Naryshkin, the State Duma committee on foreign affairs’ head Alexei Pushkov, People's Artist of the USSR Yosif Kobzon, and Russian presidential adviser Sergei Glazyev.
