The Khreschatyk official newspaper of the Kyiv city council has published a resolution of the council banning sale of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and beer in stationary retail facilities from 23:00 to 10:00.
The Khreschatyk newspaper published the resolution of the Kyiv city council on Wednesday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Kyiv city council recommends that Kyiv police step up work to stop consumption of alcoholic beverage and beer on streets, sport facilities and public transport.
The Kyiv city council also recommends that inspection bodies apply to licensing authorities regarding cancellation of retail licenses for trading in alcoholic beverages in case of violation of the ban introduced by the resolution.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Kyiv city council decided on September 22 to ban the sale of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and beer in stationary retail facilities (shops and retail chains) from 23:00 to 10:00.
