President Petro Poroshenko has proposed that the Verkhovna Rada ratify a treaty with the Netherlands (by exchange of diplomatic notes) on extending till August 1. 2017 the effect of the agreement on the international mission for protection of the investigation into the July 2014 crash of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 in Donetsk Region.
A corresponding draft law (No.0111) was registered with the parliament on Tuesday. Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The text of the document has not been published on the parliamentary website yet.
The agreement was signed on July 28. 2014.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs points to the importance of the fact. established by Dutch prosecutors. that the Flight MH17 crash was caused by a missile fired from a Buk missile launcher that was placed in a terrorist-held territory of Ukraine.
