Japan has provided the Ministry of Internal Affairs with 9,500 sets of winter uniforms for neighborhood police inspectors.
Internal Affairs Minister Arsen Avakov announced this for journalists, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The uniforms were donated to the Ukrainian party under a Japanese governmental program.
They are meant for neighborhood police inspectors only, Avakov added, and will not be passed to patrol officers.
The uniforms were made in Japan.
