The International Monetary Fund (IMF) plans the next (third) review of the programme of cooperation with Ukraine for November 15, 2016.
Ukrainian News Agency learned this from the Ukraine – IMF Memorandum of Cooperation.
November 15, the IMF Executive Board may consider disbursement of the fourth tranche of the loan in the amount of USD 1.33 billion.
This will be the case if Ukrainian authorities meet all conditions set out in the Memorandum.
The fourth review of the programme is planned for February 15, 2017 (the tranche amount is USD 1.986 billion), the fifth review for May 15, 2017 (USD 1.33 billion), the sixth for August 15, 2017 (USD 1.33 billion) and the seventh for November 15, 2017 (USD 735.8 million).
In all, Ukraine may receive USD 5.4 billion in 2017 providing for it meets all conditions.
Four reviews are planned for 2018 and the total amount is USD 2.94 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the IMF on September 14 decided to disburse Ukraine USD 1 billion as the third tranche under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme.
The total funds disbursed for Ukraine now make some USD 7.62 billion.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects the next IMF tranche in the amount of USD 1.3 billion.
