The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recalled the first secretary of the Ukrainian embassy in Slovakia, Oksana Lischishin, for violating her oath.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ spokeswoman Mariana Betsa announced this to Ukrainian News.

"The relevant decree relieved Lischishin of his post on September 26 in accordance with a recommendation by the disciplinary committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," Betsa said.

According to her, Lischishin was relieved of her dies for violating her oath.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled Lischishin in May pending completion of an investigation into her involvement in cigarette smuggling.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently said that the husband of an employee of the Ukrainian embassy in Slovakia attempted to smuggle cigarettes in a private car.
