Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Andrii Shevchenko says the government of Canada has urged its Parliament to ratify the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement.

He announced this on his microblog in Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Shevchenko says the procedures in Canada envisage that the government will submit to the Parliament bills for the implementation of the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement in 21 session days.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Parliaments of Canada and Ukraine will have ratified the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) before the end of 2016.
