Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that his meeting with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office was positive and productive. The head of state posted a message to that effect on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, July 28.
At the beginning of the meeting, Zelenskyy expressed his condolences on the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, who was a true friend of Ukraine. The president then noted that he had discussed with Trump licenses for the production of interceptors for the Patriot system.

“We also discussed diplomacy—it is important to intensify the diplomatic process. Our teams will coordinate the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its strong support,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham, at the Royal Navy’s Portsmouth naval base.
