Airstrikes hit residential area in Sumy: three children among wounded

Russian guided bombs struck a residential area on the outskirts of Sumy. Six people were injured—three children and three adults. It was reported by the State Emergency Service.

"Private homes were destroyed and damaged. Rescuers surveyed the site of the strike and assisted the residents. The Russians also attacked a civilian infrastructure facility; rescue workers quickly extinguished the fire that broke out as a result of the strike, the statement said.

In Nedryhailiv, a strike drone hit a civilian infrastructure facility. According to preliminary reports, three people were injured.

In the Stepanivka and Sumy communities, agricultural enterprises were struck. Rescue workers extinguished all identified fires.

As a reminder, overnight, russia launched a combined strike on Kyiv and the surrounding region; explosions were heard in the capital.
