The russian guard has updated its own civil defense rules, for the first time adding to them provisions on protection from "threats during mobilization, martial law and in wartime."
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Center emphasizes that such steps indicate the early preparation of the Kremlin's security apparatus to suppress possible mass protests after the announcement of mobilization.
"Despite attempts to hide the true scale of the problems on the front, the systematic updating of legislation and the arrangement of military training grounds indicate preparations for a new wave of conscription in the russian federation," the CCD added.
Earlier, the Center reported that the russian authorities are systematically expanding the list of categories of citizens for recruitment into the war, preparing for the mobilization of more than 500,000 russians.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the CCD, russian propaganda invented a "former Pentagon adviser" to condemn Ukraine's strikes.
