Today, July 27, the UN Security Council will convene for an emergency meeting in connection with the shelling of civilian ships in the Black Sea by the aggressor state of russia.

So, the meeting will begin at 05:00 pm Kyiv time. The discussion of the issue will take place at the request of Ukraine from July 20, which was supported by the European members of the Security Council - France, Great Britain, Denmark, Greece and Latvia.

It is expected that the rapporteurs from the UN Secretariat will be Kayoko Gotoh, Head of the UN Department for Political Affairs, as well as Acting. Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Indrika Ratwatte.
