On July 26, a message appeared on social networks on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi about the alleged start of an audit in the Armed Forces. The General Staff indirectly called it a fake and published Drapatyi's real social networks.
What was the fake message about
The post said that Drapatyi allegedly started an audit in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to "honestly assess the real state of affairs in each military unit".
There will be no "untouchables". If violations, official negligence or abuse are discovered, everyone will be responsible," they wrote on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief.
What the General Staff says
"Attention, media and public representatives!
We inform you that the only official pages of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, on social networks are: Facebook, Social Network X, Viber. We ask you to use only verified sources of information," the department wrote.
Earlier, Ukrainian News Agency reported that there is information about Mykhailo Drapatyi.
