On the morning of July 26, an earthquake occurred in the territory of the Pustomyty urban community of еру Lviv district. According to the Main Center for Special Control, the tremors were recorded at 05:24 am Kyiv time.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 2.8 on the Richter scale, and its epicenter was located at a depth of four kilometers. According to the official classification, such seismic vibrations belong to the category of barely perceptible, so they do not pose a threat to the population or infrastructure.
Experts urge citizens who may have felt the tremors to leave a corresponding message on the Center's website to clarify the energy parameters of the tremor.
Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 2.6 (on the Richter scale) was recorded in the Poltava Region.
On June 15, an earthquake was recorded in the Kamianets-Podilskyi district of the Khmelnytskyi Region.
