Kyrylo Budanov, the Head of the Office of the President, responded to the russian strike on July 24 against a weapons exhibition in the Kyiv Region. According to him, this is yet another war crime committed by russia.

Today, a Day of Mourning has been declared in the Kyiv Region for those killed in the russian shelling on July 24. Budanov expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
Many were wounded in the attack, and doctors are fighting to save every life. The Head of the President's Office wished all the injured a speedy recovery.
Budanov noted that this is yet another war crime committed by russia. According to him, the enemy deliberately launched the strike precisely when foreign delegations were in Kyiv. He called it a deliberate act of terrorism.
“However, in the context of a full-scale war, the organizers of such events and those who approve them must bear personal responsibility for the people involved. Security must be guaranteed at the highest level. If that is not the case, then the event should not take place. This lesson, unfortunately, is not the first, but it must finally be the last,” added the Head of the President's Office.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 24, russia attacked one of the military training grounds in the Kyiv Region, where an arms exhibition was taking place. It is known that ten people were killed and 100 were wounded as a result of the shelling.
On July 25, the Kyiv Region declared a Day of Mourning for those killed in the russian strike on July 24. Flags were flown at half-mast throughout the region, and public events were restricted.
