President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that by the end of the year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be equipped with drones capable of traveling distances of more than 4,000 kilometers. And next year, they will be able to fly 5,000 and 10,000 kilometers.

The head of state made these remarks in an interview with American blogger Laura Loomer, which she posted on X (Twitter) on Friday, July 24.

According to him, Ukraine currently has drones with a range of over 3,000 kilometers.

And this year, we will have drones with a range of 4,000 kilometers; next year—from 5,000 to 10,000 kilometers,” Zelenskyy said.

He added that Ukraine is seeking to conclude a large-scale agreement with the US on the joint production of drones. Washington has already received this expertise from Kyiv.

“Over time, we’ve launched maritime drones, aerial drones, long-range drones, and drones capable of medium- and long-range strikes. We’ve done a lot of this to experiment and learn,” the President noted.

Ukraine and the US have already implemented the first phase of the agreements. The document outlining the next step is practically ready.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 18, the Ministry of Defense approved the new Tsyklop interceptor drone for use by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As a reminder, radio technology expert Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov previously stated that the occupiers had changed their tactics for deploying Gerbera strike UAVs.
