US President Donald Trump stated that neither the People's Republic of China nor the russian federation is involved in supplying weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran. He also assured that the United States does not supply weapons to Ukraine, as it sells them only to NATO allies.

He wrote about this on the social media platform TruthSocial.

So, Trump began by recounting how, during a joint meeting in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping told him that “he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

“Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also. Likewise, President Putin … told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran,” the US president wrote in his post.

He added: “Likewise, President Putin, despite the horrible War going on in Ukraine… told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran. He understands that I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries.”

Trump explained that NATO countries pay the full price for weapons, while he himself “has no idea” exactly how those weapons are distributed.

“Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them -- Certainly not in their best interests. Thank you for your attention to this issue!” he concluded.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to media reports, Ukraine and the US are coordinating a new round of peace proposals that they plan to present to moscow. In particular, the White House is preparing a new framework for negotiations on a peaceful resolution to the russian-Ukrainian war. It is believed that recent shifts in the dynamics of the war may create an opportunity to push russia toward negotiations.

Meanwhile, US intelligence analysts are investigating the possibility that russia provided assistance to Iran following the drone attack on CIA facilities in the Persian Gulf. This involves the possible provision of information regarding drone targets or technology.
