Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an expert in radio technology, warned of the dangers of using Shahed kamikaze drones controlled remotely via the internet. According to him, due to the nature of the technology, such drones have a limited remote control range, but within that range, they can deliver high-precision strikes.
He reported this on his Facebook page, where he posted a map of the potential threat.
According to “Flash,” all areas marked in red on the map fall within the potential attack zone. It is within this zone that an operator can control the drone in real time.

Among the districts of Kyiv that fall within this zone, he named Obolon, Troieshchyna, and Vynohradar. “Everything marked in the red zone falls within the potential attack zone of the Shaheds under online control. In this zone, a Shahed can attack both moving and stationary targets,” Beskrestnov wrote.
He also urged owners of warehouses, gas stations, businesses, and other critical and civilian infrastructure facilities to be prepared for possible strikes, to respond attentively to air raid alerts, and to ensure that employees have access to shelters. "The red zone is a risk zone," the expert emphasized.
The published map shows the territory where, according to “Flash’s” assessment, the new online-controlled Shahed drones may pose the greatest danger due to their ability to accurately home in on targets.
