According to the decision of the supervisory board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company, Serhii Fedorenko will perform the duties of the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company.
The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The company's Supervisory Board adopted the relevant decision after the appointment of Serhii Koretskyi as Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The key task of the Acting Chairman of the Board will be to maintain the high pace of preparation for the heating season, ensure sufficient gas reserves in storage facilities, restore and ensure reliable operation of the oil and gas infrastructure in the face of systematic russian attacks, as well as continue the implementation of strategic agreements with international partners reached by the Naftogaz group team over the past year.
Fedorenko has been working in the oil and gas industry for over 10 years, and since July 2025 he has been working as a commercial director and a member of the Board of the Naftogaz group.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 16, newly appointed Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi announced that the Cabinet of Ministers held its first meeting with a new composition.
