Syrskyi wrote today about the creation of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) as one of his achievements. Those who have been reading my work for a long time remember the struggles involved in creating the USF. And that at first, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine blocked the development of the drone program, disbanded the specialized department within the General Staff, and tried to prevent the passage of the bill I was drafting to establish the USF.
“I believe in people, but not in drones”—that was his line.
Later, Fedorov managed to persuade the President to appoint Sukharevskyi, after which the Commander-in-Chief began blocking the new head of the division, appointed Hladkyi—who held russian passports—as his chief of staff, and noted at the Verkhovna Rada’s Defense Committee that the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) had investigated him. I recorded this response and posted it online, after which committee members accused me of disclosing a state secret (even though it wasn’t a state secret by definition), and the SSU issued a public statement saying that no one from the Commander-in-Chief’s inner circle had requested a background check on Hladkyi. Hladkyi was removed.
Eventually, we managed to push a bill on the USF through the Defense Committee, and it was then easily passed by the Verkhovna Rada. But Syrskyi continued to block Sukharevskyi, and only through a special operation—together with a few concerned individuals—were we able to impose Robert (Madyar) on him, so that he would relent and finally transfer the necessary units to the USF. To ensure the cover story was flawless, Robert put on a public show—repeating it several times—about “telling that whore Bezuhla where to get off for 20 minutes,” and Oleksandr Stanislavovych was taken in and believed that only his most loyal ally could speak with such hatred toward Mariana. Madyar was appointed commander of the USF.
Now, thanks to Robert, the USF is a powerful organization. Well, and we’re on good terms :)

P.S. Zaluzhnyi isn’t any better. Before the full-scale invasion, he provided the entire Ukrainian Armed Forces with only a few “wing”-type UAVs, and Reznikov’s remark about “wedding drones” was copied from his conversations with the Commander-in-Chief. And as for Khomchak, well… So there you have it.
