"Epicenter" store in Sumy burns down following drone attack, and part of building collapses

On the evening of July 20, russian troops launched an attack using strike drones on the "Epicenter" shopping center in Sumy. It was reported by Kordon.Media.

As a result of the strike and the subsequent fire, the section of the building housing the construction department has already collapsed. The fire has now spread to all sections of the shopping center, and footage released online shows the massive blaze.

Due to the ongoing threat of repeated attacks by enemy UAVs, which continues to this day, firefighting and rescue operations at the scene are significantly hampered.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russia dropped five cluster munitions on Sumy: two strikes hit the city center.

Earlier, on the evening of July 14, russian troops attacked Sumy, reportedly using cluster munitions. A residential area on the outskirts of the city was hit. As a result of the shelling, seven people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy.
