Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with the Deputy Head of his office, Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa, communicated with corps commanders.
This became known in the afternoon of July 18 from a report published on the official page of the Head of State in the Telegram social network.
They were in contact with the commander of the 8th Army Corps Brigadier General Dmytro Voloshyn, the commander of the 10th Army Corps Major General Artem Bohomolov, the commander of the 11th Army Corps Brigadier General Oleksii Maistrenko, the commander of the 7th Army Rapid Response Corps Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiychuk, the commander of the 20th Army Corps Brigadier General Svyatoslav Zaits and the commander of the 17th Army Corps Brigadier General Yaroslav Sidorov.
The President thanked everyone for meaningful reports.
"They discussed the nature and peculiarities of the conduct of hostilities on the front, in particular in Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, in Kharkiv Region and other, in many respects, difficult areas.
All commanders recognize the importance of our combat brigade equitable manning program. The program has been operating since December and has actually proven its effectiveness in every brigade," the President noted.
Also discussed was the necessary supply of weapons and means for conducting hostilities, implementing rotations, protecting our logistics and destroying the logistics of the russians.
"We need more long-range artillery - 155-caliber projectiles. We have determined what additional means for medium strikes should be supplied. We will talk with the manufacturers and everyone who provides supplies about additional opportunities. Thank you to all the developers and manufacturers of the GRC: this is an obvious priority for the troops, and supplies should increase," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
They also discussed operational information regarding the tasks of the occupier, which the russians are trying to implement, and the prospects of Ukrainian active defense.
"I especially want to thank Brigadier General Voloshyn for his suggestions on scaling up in the corps the work that is already yielding results at the brigade level, on the refinement of means and own production.
I am grateful to Brigadier General Maistrenko for detailing many technical problems and a meaningful description of those difficulties that are on the way and must be solved. Thanks to Brigadier General Sidorov for an absolutely clear vision of the steps, solutions and supplies needed in his direction. We will provide results. Glory to Ukraine!", the President emphasized.
