On the night of July 17, the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 12 ships of the russian "shadow fleet" in the Black Sea.
The commander of the USF Robert Brovdi ("Magyar") reported on the results of the operation.
According to him, Ukrainian drones attacked:
- nine dry cargo ships;
- one tanker;
- one gas tanker;
- one tugboat.
Brovdi also posted a video of the destruction of russian ships on his social networks.
How many ships of the russian "shadow fleet" were destroyed during Operation "MoLoChKa"?
The commander of the USF reported that from July 6 to 17, the Ukrainian military, as part of Operation "MoLoChKa", destroyed 159 ships belonging to the russian "shadow fleet".
Of these:
- 117 ships were in the Sea of Azov;
- 42 - in the Black Sea.
According to Brovdi, russia uses these ships to provide fuel to the temporarily occupied Crimea and its group of troops in the southern direction.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 14, the Ukrainian Navy announced that the Sargan-3000 complex destroyed the Izumrud patrol ship operated by the russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Black Sea near Novorossiysk. Later, a satellite image appeared showing the ship in a half-submerged state.
