US President Donald Trump, during his address to the Americans, stated that the United States is allegedly achieving significant successes in the confrontation with Iran. According to him, the consequences of these actions will become noticeable in the near future.
The head of the White House said this during his address to the nation.
"We are achieving a powerful victory over Iran. The results of this will soon be visible," Trump said.
The American President did not specify what events or operations he meant, but emphasized the successes of the United States in the current confrontation with Tehran.
The statement came against the backdrop of the aggravation of the situation in the Middle East and the exchange of blows between the US and Iran, which in recent weeks has caused concern among the international community about the risk of further escalation of the conflict.
As a reminder, Iranian missiles attacked two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. As a result of the strike, one crew member was killed and eight more people were injured, including two Ukrainian citizens.
