Reserve+ posts job openings for new contracts with Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the Reserve+ app, you can apply for job openings for which new contracts are being signed with the Defense Forces. It was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

“The new contracts provide for clear terms of service, as well as a guaranteed right to deferment after completion of service. Those subject to military service can apply through the Reserve+ app in the ‘Job Openings’ section,” the statement reads.

What contracts are available on Reserve+?

Infantry-Assault Contract – for infantrymen, assault troops, combat medics, gunners, driver-mechanics, and other designated combat positions – with the highest risks.

The term of service is:

  • 14 months—for civilians;
  • 10 months – for active-duty military personnel;
  • 6 months or more – for military personnel who were discharged from service during a state of emergency.

Combat contract – for electronic warfare specialists, ground-based robotic system operators, artillerymen, and other combat specialties. Term of service: 24 months.

Basic contract—for other areas of service, including the possibility of holding support positions. Term of service—24 months.

Deferment

The standard deferment period is six months. If a service member served prior to 2022, an additional month of deferment is granted for each full year of such service.

"For service members who have signed an infantry-assault contract, additional guarantees are provided: three months are added to the deferment for each month of combat duty, as well as six months for each year of service after 2022, the Ministry of Defense states.

For combat and basic service contracts, one additional month of deferment is granted for every 30 days of combat duty.
