That night, the russians used 13 missiles (8 of them are ballistic) and 151 drones to strike Ukraine, in particular, the enemy carried out the sixth ballistic attack on Kyiv in a month; in order to stop russian terror, President Volodymyr Zelensky called on allies to accelerate the supply of interceptor missiles to air defense systems.
Zelenskyy reported this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The President noted that as of now, two people have been killed in Kyiv as a result of the russian missile strike this night.
"My condolences to the relatives and friends. Five were injured, including a child. The Russians damaged a high-rise building, warehouses, and cars," the head of state said.
The enemy also struck with drones and aerial bombs in the Kharkiv Region, as a result of which residential buildings, a cinema and other civilian facilities were damaged, and four people were injured.
In addition, the occupiers hit a park in Sumy, and in the region they attacked a tractor brigade.
Apartment buildings were damaged in Zaporizhzhia.
There is also damage to power grid facilities in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv and Donetsk Regions.
"In total, the Russians used 13 missiles, 8 of them ballistic, and 151 drones. In July alone, this night was the sixth ballistic attack on Kyiv. Moscow is counting on terror with ballistics and is continuing its strikes, and it is very important now to accelerate the supply of interceptors to air defense," Zelenskyy stressed.
He added that every aid package is important, everything that Ukraine has agreed with its partners must arrive on time.
"The promptness of these supplies allows us to protect the lives of our people and thwart Russia's desire to continue fighting. Thank you to everyone who helps," the head of state summed up.
