The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Navy has published a satellite image showing a russian patrol ship that was previously destroyed near Novorossiysk in the aggressor country of russia.

The Ukrainian Navy posted the image on its official Telegram channel.

The image shows the ship moored at a dock. Significant damage to the hull and signs of fire are visible. Two russian fire trucks are parked nearby.

It is worth noting that the ship in the image is located near the port of Gelendzhik, which is situated southeast of Novorossiysk. It is unknown whether it was struck there or if the russians towed the damaged ship to that location.

The patrol ship “Izumrud” took part in the attack on Ukrainian ships in the Kerch Strait in November 2018. At that time, the russians opened fire, rammed, and seized two small armored artillery boats, the “Berdiansk” and the “Nikopol,” as well as the tugboat “Yany Kapu.”

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 12–13, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out a large-scale operation during which two russian patrol boats and four car ferries were struck.
