Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk believes that, in his opinion, russia is not ready for a ceasefire and will probably continue hostilities at least until winter.

According to Reuters, Tusk told reporters during a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the Polish Prime Minister, he has already discussed the situation in Ukraine with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Tusk noted that there are few chances of a ceasefire or a peace agreement in the near future due to the Kremlin's position.

"It now seems unlikely that a ceasefire or a peace agreement will be reached in the near future, given the tough position of russia and putin. Everyone expects an escalation of actions from russia, and it is quite likely that russia will want to continue this war at least until winter," he said.

Poland to hold joint exercises with France and Great Britain Donald Tusk also announced that Poland will hold joint military exercises with the French and British military in the fall.

According to him, these exercises should prepare allies to guarantee the security of Ukraine and the region after a possible peace agreement with russia.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk positively assessed the meeting of the Presidents of Poland and Ukraine. According to him, both leaders realize that the crisis has gone too far and is harming the interests of both countries.
