72% of rotations carried out in accordance with order, but there are still soldiers who remain on front line without rotation for more than 200 days - Syrskyi

In accordance with the order on mandatory rotation of servicemen on the front line, 72% of rotations were carried out, but there are still about 20 servicemen who remain on the front line without rotation for more than 200 days. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"I am monitoring the issue of rotations of our servicemen on the front line. So, according to the results of the work of the control groups, we currently have information about 72% of rotations that were carried out in accordance with the order to ensure that servicemen stay in positions for a period of no more than two months," he said.

At the same time, according to him, there are brigades that have not been able to make such changes.

"There are about two dozen soldiers in the Armed Forces who remain on the front line without rotation for 200 days or more. We study each such case, analyze the situation, and seek solutions," the Commander-in-Chief noted.

Syrskyi noted that in some places, replacing servicemen in positions in the "kill zone" requires a complex special operation, involving several groups of UAV operators, GRCs, and reconnaissance, to be carried out under the cover of bad weather and darkness.

At the same time, he emphasized that the main component of these operations is the commander's indifference, because there are enough trained personnel for such rotations; the expediency of holding positions should be determined by the commander only from the point of view of the effectiveness of their use, and not for the sake of an illusory line on the map.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the end of April, Syrskyi signed an order on the mandatory rotation of military personnel on the front line, determining that the military's stay in positions on the contact line could last no more than 2 months.
